Hey, you can do this.
Two years ago, after already deciding to come to Mississippi College, I decided that attending Preview Day would ease my nerves about college being right around the corner. I'd known about Mississippi College since about 7th grade after attending a summer camp here. From then on, Mississippi College always came up in conversation and every time I would think back to how much I loved MC.
Hey friends, it's Elizabeth, and welcome to the end of the school year. 'Tis the season for warm weather, bittersweet good-byes, and reflecting on how you've grown over the past year. A few days ago I met with a friend of mine, and she asked me the top three things I'd learned this year. It's actually a pretty tough question, and I'd encourage you to ask yourself and your friends. Also, since I tend to be long-winded and refuse to be constrained to three, here are seven lessons I've learned during my senior year of college.
Hello friends, it's your favorite graduating senior, Elizabeth, and I'd be lying if I said I'm excited about writing this blog. I started working in the Tower during the fall of 2012 as a caller, and then for the past two years I've gotten to work on the blog! I've genuinely loved this job and have made some priceless memories with co-workers that have become my best friends.
Hey friends! It's Ashton on the blog today to keep y'all up to date with the happenings of MC life. As you probably know, MC doesn't have fraternities and sororities, but we have a Club and Tribe system that offers students a way to be involved on campus. Today, I'm here to tell y'all about the newest tribe on campus: Chenoa.
Hi friends! It's Ash and Liz here to provide with some smooth tunes to carry you through finals. We know that an essential part of studying is having the perfect background noise to both fuel your productivity and provide you with sweet relief when the stress gets to be too much. We've compiled some of our favorite study music together to make the ultimate finals playlist.
Hello fellow students. It's Ashton here. Within the past ten minutes, I've eaten a tortilla, walked laps around the cubicles, and yelled at people from the tower window. I wish I had a logical reason for why I did those things, but I don't. We are a generation of procrastinators and while it affects our work progress and homework load, it is what it is. We are the #ProctastinationNation and as finals come around, it's the perfect time to embrace it.
Hi friends! It's your favorite resident blog chiefs here to brighten your day with a plethora of cute animal pictures. Finals are coming fast and furious and we're here to prepare you in the best way we know how-- adorable animals acting as a way for us to explain what it's like to experience finals. Let's do this.
